Our singles are a very important part of our church congregation, and we want to give them the recognition they need.

Often the singles within an independent holiness church feel there is no real place for them.  After all, we have Sunday School picnics, Youth Camps, Ladies Retreats, Men’s Advances, Couples Banquets, etc., but nothing formally planned in our busy schedule to address the real needs of the man or woman who is no longer a teen, and has never married.  Certainly no one has a lifelong desire to be the “old maid” or “graying/balding bachelor” in the church.  This sense of not fitting in has driven some to seek fellowship or companionship with peers they have met at school or on the job who may not be Christians or hold the same standards of holy living.  We risk losing them to the larger, worldly church that gives them this extra attention.

It is our desire to counter this by recognizing the worth of each one, and by ministering to their particular needs in an effort to provide a sense of belonging and fulfillment within the singles community.
